Concrete pump outrigger pads are used to create a larger, more reliable bearing surface under pump truck outriggers during setup and pumping. The boom position changes the center of gravity through the swing range, and the outrigger floats are often much smaller than people expect. These outrigger pads are selected not just for basic support, but for stiffness, surface area, and stability under changing load conditions.
