BKM outrigger pads are designed to allow for creating a solid base for stabilizers and outriggers through expanding the force reaction. If the cranes, boom trucks, concrete pumps, and other utilities are erected on the ground, which may consist of soil, gravel, asphalt shoulders, grass, etc., then the outrigger pads with correct materials and thickness will be useful.
Detailed technical specifications
Each batch undergoes thorough inspection on the shop floor. Raw material is tested upon arrival, as well as finished parts upon completion. Anything failing to conform to specifications is not shipped out.
ISO 9001:2015 certification requires written processes, production control measures, and traceability of the process from initial raw material to finished part. More critically, ISO helps us maintain tolerances across multiple batches, rather than just in theory.
In cases of applications involving food production, only selected types of HDPE and UHMWPE materials which conform to FDA food-grade standards are used. These grades are usually utilized in cutting surfaces, guides, and wear parts.
Materials comply with RoHS environmental regulations in terms of substance content restrictions. This is ensured by monitoring the components of the material, rather than the finished part.
Material test reports available upon request include mechanical properties such as tensile strength and impact value, as well as wear information and dimensional checks.
Yes. HDPE/UHMWPE outrigger pads are excellent electrical insulators. They are safe to use near power lines, electrical facilities and utility construction sites without risk of electric conduction.
Wooden pads easily rot, splinter and fail. While steel pads are heavy, rust-prone and may scratch or damage ground surfaces. Plastic pads are lightweight, rot-proof, non-water-absorbent and chemical-resistant. They offer longer service life and better all-around safety.
Most plastic outrigger pads are made from recycled HDPE/UHMWPE and are 100% recyclable at the end of life. They do not rot, splinter or absorb liquids, making them a greener choice than wooden pads.
Yes. They are designed with a textured non-slip surface that maintains reliable traction for outriggers and workers, even in mud, rain or light oil exposure.
With regular inspection and proper use, high-quality plastic outrigger pads can last 5–10 years or longer, much longer than wooden pads under the same working conditions.
Yes. We support custom square/round sizes, thicknesses, and can add molded handles, rope holes or custom logos to match your crane model and site requirements.
