Key Features & Advantages
Keep traffic within a protected route. Our HDPE protection mats for grass form a barrier between equipment and grass, helping reduce direct scuffing and rutting. A defined access lane also limits the area exposed to repeated deliveries and material movement.
Select coverage without overlooking handling weight. The 1000 × 2000 mm format suits crews moving mats between small landscaping jobs; the 1220 × 2440 mm format covers a wider strip with each panel. We review access width and lifting arrangements alongside the equipment load.
Reuse the panels after wet jobs. HDPE does not rot or produce timber splinters. Soil can be washed off before the panels are inspected and stacked, making them a practical alternative to repeatedly replacing wet or damaged plywood.
Match the surface to the route. Choose the tread with the tire or track type, foot traffic and cleaning needs in mind. We also review the ground-facing surface for lawn use; the most aggressive upper tread is not automatically the right finish against delicate turf.
Connect the route as work progresses. Compatible links help keep neighboring panels aligned during repeated passes. We specify the hole layout and connectors together, with particular attention to entrances, changes in direction and wider working areas.
Prepare a mat set for repeat deployment. Panel dimensions, colors, identification and packing can be specified for a landscaping crew or rental fleet. Consistent order specifications make it easier to organize sets for different sites and replenish stock.
Applications
Residential landscaping and garden construction. Lay lawn protection mats between the unloading point and work area for compact excavators, loaders and material deliveries. Plan the route around lawn edges, gateways and turning space before traffic starts.
Tree care and grounds maintenance. Lay protective matting for grass to create temporary equipment routes during tree-care and grounds maintenance work. Match the panel system to the machine and supporting ground, and recover sections when access is no longer needed.
Parks and municipal green spaces. Use protective mats for grass to form access routes for maintenance vehicles and small excavation work across parks. Connected layouts help keep repeated access concentrated on a recoverable route.
Event setup and removal. Provide temporary vehicle access mats for grass during equipment delivery and site clearance. Specify service-vehicle routes separately from visitor walkways so tread and transitions suit each use.
Reference panel configurations for lawn and landscaping access. Body thickness excludes the raised surface texture; confirm the selected finish and handling weight with your order.

Nominal area is calculated from panel dimensions; route quantities must also allow for width changes and working areas. Equipment suitability depends on axle or track loads, ground support and turning movements. These configurations are not a guarantee against settlement on saturated soil.
