Key Features & Advantages
Build access that can be recovered. The plastic panels are removable assets for the contractor’s inventory. Once access is no longer required, a serviceable set can be cleaned, inspected and prepared for another forest section.
Balance coverage with relocation work. Our double-sided 1220 × 2440 mm reference covers about 2.98 m² at 41 kg per panel. The compact 1000 × 2000 mm option offers a different handling and panel-count balance for separately assessed duties.
Keep movements on a selected line. Connected mats help define the vehicle route rather than allowing traffic to spread across the surrounding ground. Agree the required width and turns before calculating the supply quantity.
Use moisture-resistant panel bodies. HDPE does not rot like timber and provides a durable surface that can be cleaned after wet work. Reuse depends on panel condition, the traffic and the way the set is handled.
Specify holes and links as a set. Confirm hand-hole details and the matching connection system with each format. This makes the stock easier to identify when panels and hardware are collected from changing work areas.
Retain the specification for future contracts. Agreed color and identification options help distinguish an owner’s panels. Keep the approved dimensions and hole layout with the order record for later replenishment.
Applications
Temporary approaches within forest projects. Provide an assessed access line between an existing route and the current work section. Select the panel format around the actual service vehicles and ground.
Relocating outdoor construction work. Move recovered sections as forestry-related work progresses. Plan the next layout before releasing the panels still needed by the previous crew.
Maintenance vehicle access. Supply suitable portable panels for repeated visits by the specified maintenance fleet. Include weather-related ground changes in the ongoing access review.
Equipment and material delivery approaches. Consider the route from the established forest road to the receiving area. Heavy logging trucks and harvesting equipment require their own assessment rather than automatic approval from a lighter access configuration.
Reference formats for comparing handling and route coverage. The 4×8 configuration matches the dimensions described in our removable forestry-access case.
