Key Features & Advantages
Spread traffic loads across a defined route. Our heavy equipment mud mats help distribute wheel and track loads over a wider supporting area, reducing direct traffic damage to soft soil and keeping equipment on the planned access line.
Durable UHMWPE for repeated wet-site work. The solid polymer body resists wear and impact and does not rot like timber. It can be cleaned and inspected between jobs, making repeat deployment more practical than repeatedly replacing damaged wooden boards.
Choose the footprint around the route. Our 3000 x 2500 mm and 4000 x 2000 mm reference formats both have a 38 mm body and a 48 mm overall textured profile. Different footprints give you options for road width, staging areas and the available handling equipment.
Match the tread to tires and tracks. We offer surface-pattern options for different equipment fleets. The selected texture provides a defined running surface above the mud; keeping the tread clear is part of maintaining traction during use.
Connect panels at seams and junctions. Two-way and four-way connection options help keep adjacent mats aligned as the route extends or widens. We specify the links and hole layout together with the panels so the installation does not depend on improvised joins.
Recover and redeploy the mat fleet. After the job, the panels can be lifted, washed, checked and stacked for transport. Custom identification and agreed stacking arrangements help contractors and rental operators manage mats across successive projects.
Applications
Construction-site deliveries. Use construction mud mats to form temporary routes between the site entrance, unloading area and work front for dump trucks, concrete mixers and excavators, where the prepared ground supports the planned traffic.
Pipeline and utility corridors. Build connected access for pipe-handling equipment, utility trucks and maintenance vehicles along muddy work sections. Recover the panels as work advances and move them to the next section.
Mining and quarry service areas. Provide a reusable running surface through muddy service routes and equipment staging areas. Panel selection accounts for repeated heavy traffic, tracked machinery and turning movements.
Temporary roads to energy projects. Lay temporary road mats for muddy ground along equipment delivery and maintenance routes to substations and renewable-energy construction areas, with the road width and base preparation planned for the vehicles involved.
Solid UHMWPE reference configurations for project selection. Body thickness is measured separately from the overall thickness across the surface texture.

For load selection, send the operating weight, axle or track loading, contact area, ground condition and expected number of passes. BKM confirms the applicable panel and installation conditions for the project; a static panel rating is not a vehicle rating for unsupported mud. Nominal panel area is length x width and is not a finished-road quantity allowance.
