Solid UHMWPE routes for repeated construction deliveries and equipment travel

Repeated deliveries place different demands on a construction route than an occasional compact-machine crossing. BKM heavy-duty construction ground mats use solid UHMWPE panels with a 38 mm body and a 48 mm overall textured profile. We help you coordinate the route geometry, supporting ground, matching connectors and mechanical handling for the actual traffic. These are large access panels for a defined duty, not an unconditional load-capacity promise or a substitute for outrigger support.

Key Features & Advantages

  • Plan around repeated traffic movements. Send your loaded equipment list, expected passes and the locations where vehicles stop, brake or turn. We review the heavy-panel configuration around those conditions rather than only the heaviest gross weight. Keep stationary lifting and other concentrated support duties outside the travel-route specification.
  • Choose a footprint for entrances and bends. Our references are 3000 × 2500 mm at approximately 293 kg and 4000 × 2000 mm at approximately 312 kg. Their proportions change the joint layout and handling space. Include trailer swept paths, reversing and passing areas so traffic remains within the supported panel footprint.
  • Keep the heavy solid profile explicit. Both references have a 38 mm solid UHMWPE body and a 48 mm overall textured thickness. That profile informs entrance and exit transitions as well as order comparison. It must not be confused with the much shallower portable 4×8 references or the separate 102 mm cellular system.
  • Connect panels without concealing support problems. We supply hardware matched to the agreed hole and joint arrangement. Align panels on suitable ground before connection, then check high-movement locations during use. Do not force hardware to pull an unsupported or displaced panel into place and treat that as a correction to the underlying route.
  • Include placement equipment in the access plan. These panels require mechanical handling at delivery, installation and recovery. Confirm pack weights, reach, working space and approved lifting provisions with the selected model. A visible hole or connector opening must not be treated as a lifting point without confirmation.
  • Review wheels and tracks separately. Tell us the tire dimensions or track contact, including steel grousers and turning methods. Straight travel does not establish suitability for repeated tracked pivot turns. Keep mud and aggregate off the surface so the tread remains exposed and wear or damage can be inspected.
  • Monitor the supporting route during service. Check settlement, edge movement, loose hardware and visible changes after initial passes, rain or equipment substitution. The soil remains part of the load path even when the panel is intact. Restrict an affected section for assessment rather than relying on the word heavy-duty to justify continued use.
  • Recover a complete usable system. Plan removal from the end of the route while maintaining access for your handling equipment. Clean and inspect panels and hardware before stacking, and separate damaged items. Keep the selected drawing with the inventory so replacement panels and connectors can be reviewed before the next construction deployment.

Applications

  • Construction entrances with repeated deliveries. Connect an established access road to the unloading zone while permanent surfacing is incomplete. Show braking, turning and vehicle stopping areas in the layout. Confirm the support and suitable transition at the 48 mm textured panel profile.
  • Equipment transfer between active work areas. Provide a defined temporary route for approved excavator, loader and truck movements across supported ground. Review tire or track contact and any change in direction before selection. Traveling approval does not extend to digging, lifting or other stationary operations.
  • Industrial expansion service roads. Maintain an assessed equipment route through unfinished areas while new permanent access is being built. Coordinate panel recovery with the replacement road and your handling-equipment access. Recheck contact arrangements where the temporary route meets completed concrete or paving.

Large solid UHMWPE reference formats for a mechanically handled construction route. Confirm connections, ground support and operating conditions before ordering.

Nominal face area does not by itself determine the installed layout or equipment capacity. These are travel-access references, not outrigger pads or unsupported-span panels. The linked riverbank project used a different 38 mm HDPE format and is not a load validation for these UHMWPE panels.

Company Certifications
Quality Assurance

Certified for Global Standards

Each batch undergoes thorough inspection on the shop floor. Raw material is tested upon arrival, as well as finished parts upon completion. Anything failing to conform to specifications is not shipped out.

ISO 9001 Quality Management

ISO 9001:2015 certification requires written processes, production control measures, and traceability of the process from initial raw material to finished part. More critically, ISO helps us maintain tolerances across multiple batches, rather than just in theory.

Food-Grade FDA Compliance

In cases of applications involving food production, only selected types of HDPE and UHMWPE materials which conform to FDA food-grade standards are used. These grades are usually utilized in cutting surfaces, guides, and wear parts.

RoHS Compliant Manufacturing

Materials comply with RoHS environmental regulations in terms of substance content restrictions. This is ensured by monitoring the components of the material, rather than the finished part.

Traceable Material Test Reports (MTR)

Material test reports available upon request include mechanical properties such as tensile strength and impact value, as well as wear information and dimensional checks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Review the complete duty when vehicle contact loads, repeated movements or ground conditions exceed the portable configuration's assessed scope. Our heavy solid references also change the layout and mechanical-handling requirement. Send the traffic and route details; thickness or the project label alone does not determine the choice.

Include entrances, bends, braking zones, stopping points and changes in ground support. Inspect panel seating, edge movement, joints and hardware after initial traffic and significant changes. An undamaged panel face does not establish that the underlying soil or adjoining joint remains suitable.

Do not treat additional tightening as a substitute for checking the cause. Settlement or moving joints may reflect inadequate support, poor alignment or changing ground. Restrict the affected section, assess the support and connection condition, and restore a suitable route before traffic resumes.

Only if the selected design and handling arrangement explicitly approve that use. The reference panels weigh approximately 293 kg and 312 kg. Confirm lifting provisions and suitable mechanical equipment rather than assuming that any visible opening is rated for a suspended panel.

Not without reviewing the track design, operating load, turning method and connection layout. Pivoting changes local abrasion and lateral forces. Provide steel-grouser details where applicable and follow the approved movement scope instead of treating all tracked access as the same duty.

No. Weak pockets, drainage, debris, voids and changes in level still need attention. The panels require suitable support and are not specified to bridge an open trench. Share the ground assessment with the vehicle information so the route can be reviewed as a complete system.

Send the route geometry, loaded axle or track details, traffic frequency, turns, ground information and intended quantity. Include destination, unloading equipment and any existing-panel drawings. We review the solid panel format, matching connectors and packing while keeping lifting supports and site equipment outside the assumed supply scope.
